W.S. Gilbert’s Quotes of the Week
(Read more here)

‘Three little maids from school are we,
Pert as a schoolgirl well can be,
Filled to the brim with girlish glee.’
(The Mikado)
Note: Seems to be most effective when sung in amateur productions by ladies of somewhat senior years - particularly if they take themselves seriously.

‘She may very well pass for forty-three
In the dusk with the light behind her!’
(Trial by Jury)

‘If a man can’t forge his own will, whose will can he forge? (Ruddigore)

Beccles Duck Race
4th October 2009
Beccles Duck Race Link

The Beccles Duck race turned out to be a really fun, if somewhat bizarre, event - not that a duck race is going to be anything other than a strange concept, but this one was stranger than most.
