Grim’s Dyke Visit - 22nd August 2010
Have a look at Society trip to Grim’s Dyke, once the home of W.S. Gilbert.
A small group made this almost compulsory pilgrimage in August 2010, and enjoyed a lovely performance of some G&S from the Grim’s Dyke Opera Company.

Beautifully illustrated with original cartoons by Society member Wendy Gooch this G&S themed collection of members’ favourite recipes is already a success, and in its second edition.
At only £5 a copy it is selling like hot cakes (for which you will find recipes in the book).

Beccles Duck Race 4th October 2009
The Beccles Duck race turned out to be a really fun, if somewhat bizarre, event - not that a duck race is going to be anything other than a strange concept, but this one was stranger than most.
